The body positivity movement has been super trendy recently and I love that so many people are making it a priority to love and accept themselves as they are today and not tomorrow when they've lost the weight or when they feel better or when the stars align in their favour. That said, we still have a lot of work to do on the body acceptance front. Specifically, it's time to expand our perspective on what constitutes body positivity and do the uncomfortable work of looking at our biases and our prejudices because the reality is, self-care and body acceptance is a collective responsibility.
In this week's episode of Body Acceptance Made Easy, I share some thoughts about body positivity—what it is, what it means, why it matters, and how to practice it in our everyday lives. Enjoy!
