A few weeks ago, I was at brunch catching up with an old co-worker I hadn’t seen in years. She told me how inspired she was by me for doing the work that I do around spiritual development and body empowerment.
About an hour into our brunch, she told me how, even as a person in a thin body, she struggled to love herself. She told me that she felt like she’s been at war with her body for over a decade and now, she desperately wants to feel at peace with her body, but she had no idea where to start.
I thought for a moment about my own journey and realized that there really was only one thing, one a-ha moment, that shifted everything for me. In this week’s video, I share the exact advice that I offered my former co-worker.
