Compassion is hard. And if you’re anything like me, it’s the last courtesy you want to extend when you’ve been hurt. Over the last four years, I have been blessed with several opportunities to work on my compassion muscle—at work, in relationships, in activism, with myself, with the world. And although it still continues to be a hard process, somewhere along the way I’ve learned some pretty amazing strategies and tools that help make the journey back to compassion a little quicker and a little less painful than it once was.
If you’re curious about how I practice compassion, watch the video below where I share with you, 3 of my core strategies for making compassion feel a little bit easier when it seems like the most impossible thing to do. This video’s a long one, but it’s worth it. You’ll want to stick around to the end of the video where I share a beautiful kundalini meditation for healing yourself and others.
Want to keep the instructions for this meditation handy without having to re-watch the video over and over again? Your wish is my command.
Did you like this video? Tell me all about it in the comments section below! Specifically, I’d love to know 1) which compassion strategy was your favourite; and 2) if you have any compassions strategies of your own!
