Though I pride myself in being someone who is really good at seeing the positive in every situation, I sometimes have moments of sheer darkness. At the beginning of this year, I went into a space of what I like to call “failurehood”. A space of feeling like no matter what I was doing, nothing was ever good enough. This feeling went on for about two weeks and got progressively worse every day until something shifted.
